Department Activities :
The department of ETC organized a National Seminar on � Recent Advancement in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Techniques� by TEQIP-III, BPUT, Odisha on 22 nd January 2020 .
The inaugural session was graced by Dr.Tapas Kumar Patra as Chief Guest, Dr .Harish Sahoo , Associate Professor, VSSUT, Burla. Dr. J.K.Das Associate Professor, School of Electronics, KIIT, Bhubaneswar, Dr. B.K.Mishra , Professor, GIET University,Gunupur. Ms Ritu Maity ,CTTC, Bhubaneswar, Er.A.K.Sahu ,Trustee,SIET,Dhenkanal, Dr.I.Mohanty ,Principal, SIET, Dhenkanal, Professor Dr.P.K.Nayak (Convener). The welcome address was delivered by Dr.P.K.Nayak. Dr I.Mohanty given a general idea about Artificial Intelligence .Chief guest Dr.Tapas Patra briefly discussed on the topic with many examples.Trustee Er.A.K.Sahu praised the initiative and also guided students about the importance of Artificial Intelligence. A proceeding was released by the Chief Guest. The memento has been given to the chief guest by the trustee Er.A.K.Sahu. After that Mrs.Bishnupriya Sahoo (Co-ordinator) gave the vote of thanks.

A National Webinar on the topic� AI in Healthcare: Recent Trends and Future possibilities� was organized by the department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering on Dt.27.06.2020. Professor Mayuri Mehta Department of Computer Science Engineering Of Sarvajanik College of Engineering , Surat, Gujurat was the Speaker of the webinar. Mrs.Bishnupriya Sahoo was the Co-ordinator of the webinar.

Dr.Madhurima Chattopadhyay Professor and HOD, Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering , Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata was the speaker of the Webinar. There were 114 numbers of participants. Mrs.Bishnupriya Sahoo was the Co-ordinator of the webinar .
