            As per the Government Notification all the   SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/EBCG students are hereby informed to apply the post Matric Scholarship (FRESH/Renewal) for the Session 2020-21 in online. They are hereby directed to follow the following instructions for applying the Scholarship. All the applicants are advised to read the “IMPORTANT NOTICE” release by Government which is given below. They have applied the scholarship in ‘ODISHA STATE SCHOLARSHIP PORTAL” as per the  link is given below instead of  “PRERANA PORTAL”

  1. As per the Govt. Guide lines, multiple scholarship will not be entertained to the students. ONLY ONE SCHOLARSHIP WILL BE ALLOWED TO THE STUDENTS FOR APPLY.
  2. AADHAR NUMBER IS NECESSARY FOR APPLY THE SCHOLARSHIP THIS YEAR 2020-21
  3. LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE  FRESH APPLICATION BY THE STUDENTS-15.01.2021

 

  1. Last Date for submission of duly signed printed online (Hard Copy) to the college

25.01.2021

  1. Last date scrutiny of online applications by Institute 31.01.2021

 

  1. Students should down load the Application form from the web site
  2. Original Application form well filled up by the students concerned after online data sending.
  3. Attested CASTE Certificate
  4. ANNUAL Income Certificate of the father/guardian from respective TAHASIL DAR in original
  5. Original Affidavit mentioning the SC/ST/OBC/SEBC caste and Annual income does not exceed the amount of Rs.2.5Lakh per Annum .for SC/ST/OBC/SEBC .

 

  1. Boarder Certificate from the Hostel superintends mentioning the Date of Admission in Hostel.
  2. Mark Sheets of the last qualifying Examinations with percentage of Marks (minimum 50% for OBC/SEBC/)
  3. Xerox copies of payments fees towards  readmission/admission and registration
  4. ADHAR CARD XEROX,.

Today, the soft skill development has become a primary focus in the overall development in any training programme. Mere possession of an institutional degree is not sufficient to cope with the day to day challenges faced by modern industries. To cover up this deficiency, BOPT(ER), Kolkata has launched the General Attribute Development Programme (GADP) to provide soft skills to the pass-out degree & diploma holder students as well as the apprentices, fresh company executives/ non-executives, senior executives of MSMEs. This GADP consists of 6 modules as: Communication; Attitude Development; Analytical, Creativity & Innovation; Time Management; Multi-tasking; Leadership & Team Dynamics. Therefore, it appears that such soft skill training programme like GADP is pertinent for overall development of passed out students and their employability.
